Photo Video Cleaner ("we", "our", or "the app") is a photo and video cleanup app that helps you find and remove duplicate, similar, blurry, and unnecessary photos from your library. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Photo Video Cleaner is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal information:

• Photo library access: The app accesses your photo library on-device to scan for duplicates, similar photos, blurry images, screenshots, large files, and old photos. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
• Subscription status: Information about your subscription plan, managed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. We do not process payments directly.
• Scan results: Scan data (such as detected duplicates and categories) is stored locally on your device only.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Photo scanning: Your photo library is analyzed entirely on-device using image hashing, Apple's Vision framework, and image processing algorithms to detect duplicates, similar photos, and blurry images.
• Subscription management: To verify and manage your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit.

3. On-Device Processing

All photo analysis and scanning is performed entirely on your device. Your photos, thumbnails, and scan results are never sent to any external server or cloud service. The app uses Apple's Vision framework and on-device image processing algorithms — no data leaves your device.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple StoreKit: Subscription management and payment processing. Payments are handled entirely by Apple.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

5. Photo Library Access

Photo Video Cleaner requires access to your photo library to scan and identify photos for cleanup. Photos are only accessed when you initiate a scan or browse results. The app never modifies your photos — it can only move selected items to the Recently Deleted album through Apple's Photos framework, where they remain recoverable for 30 days.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

All scan results and app data are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data. No account creation is required, and no personal data is stored on external servers.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your photos and scan data never leave your device.

8. Data Security

Since all data processing happens on-device and no personal data is transmitted to external servers, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and biometric protection.

9. Children's Privacy

Photo Video Cleaner is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date.
